Bringing people together with a rich assortment of programs, WonderArts envisions a community connected through lifelong learning, accessible resources and fulfilling opportunities.

WonderArts brings people from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds together through assorted programming of enrichment, classes, events, and community initiatives, for all ages (from zero to a hundred). Our work especially focuses on supporting the most underserved members of our community through programs that foster self-confidence, connection, community partnerships, and wellbeing.

As we look to the future, we are energized by the possibilities. Our range of programs have multifaceted outcomes as we strive towards creating, supporting and sustaining a vibrant community in our rural corner of Vermont.

In an area with limited “third spaces,” we make use of available public locations to bring people together for classes and gatherings, and subsidize these offerings with grant funding and general donations to make them available to everyone. We are excited to share with you how our programs, opportunities, and initiatives continue to grow and serve the communities of Craftsbury, Greensboro, Hardwick and the Northeast Kingdom.

LIFELONG LEARNING
We support lifelong learning in our communities; through the A.R.T.S: art, recreation, technology and sustainability. Our school programs range from preschool to high school, and our myriad of community programs and classes reach participants of all age ranges. No matter the topic, our classes focus on whole-body wellbeing and emphasize creativity, exploration, active learning and connection to the natural world. Programming for all ages is at the foundation of our organization and our greatest tool to help build and strengthen our community.

CULTIVATING VIBRANCY
We are dedicated to cultivating vibrancy in our communities through connection, learning, access and opportunities. In a rural area mostly devoid of true “third places,” our programs provide a space for people to come together outside of their homes and workplaces and see old and new faces. By subsidizing all of our programs through grant and funding and general donations, these classes and events are made available and accessible to all members of our community regardless of income.
